If your vehicle experiences a fault or defect after the purchase, you must notify us immediately. If the fault requires a visit to the repair shop, do not take the vehicle to the repair shop before submitting a complaint to us and receiving instructions.
If you have been instructed to fill out a complaint form or if the issue seems straightforward, the form can be found at the bottom of this page. In urgent cases, such as when a trip is interrupted due to a technical fault, we recommend that you first contact your insurance company.
Saka is responsible for the vehicles sold in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, following the guidance of the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (FCCA) and its precedents. If you have purchased the SakaVarma additional warranty with your car purchase, we will carry out repairs in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and our contractual terms.
Repairing the vehicle is the primary method of addressing the defect. Repairs will be carried out at the repair shop designated by Saka, and primarily with used parts, as the car will be restored to a condition that corresponds to its mileage. If you prefer, you can agree on the use of new parts for the repair on a case-by-case basis for an additional charge.
If the customer has neglected the vehicle's maintenance or repairs, if scheduled maintenance has been carried out against the manufacturer's instructions, or if the vehicle has been used improperly, the warranty will be voided. Normal wear and tear, such as brake replacement or replacement of worn suspension parts, is not covered by the general warranty.
Please note: Due to illness-related delays, there is currently a backlog in processing new contact requests. We apologize for the inconvenience!
