A Coupe-Style Car Lets You Stand Out from the Crowd
If you don’t need a lot of space for a dog or a family, or perhaps you're looking for a stylish, sporty second car, a coupe is definitely worth considering.
The Coupe Concept Has Evolved in Recent Years
Originally, a coupe referred to a small, two-door car. This still represents the core of the coupe design, but in recent years, even four-door, sleeker sedans and hatchbacks have been classified as coupes. Well-known examples of these four-door sedans include the Audi A5 and the Mercedes-Benz CLA.
Some of the boldest interpretations of the coupe design are SUVs with a sloping rear instead of a boxy one. The BMW X6 was the first to follow this design trend. Since then, Mercedes-Benz has joined the movement with several models, the most common on the roads today being the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
