The inspection did not involve dismantling the vehicle’s structures or parts. The inspection was carried out using the equipment available at the inspection station. The enclosed structures were inspected without special equipment. The vehicle being inspected was compared with a vehicle of the same make and age, in normal condition and with normal wear. The inspected item was always assessed as being in good condition unless there was abnormal wear or a fault. A fault or wear that would result in a follow-up inspection during the vehicle inspection was assessed in the condition inspection as requiring repair. The OBD test device is used only for testing the exhaust emission system. The customer receives an inspection report from the inspection. The inspection report is the property of DEKRA Katsastus, and DEKRA Katsastus may, at its discretion, use the inspection report and the information contained in it in its other business operations without the customer’s separate consent. DEKRA Katsastus is liable for any error that may occur in the service. However, liability for compensation is limited to a maximum of the price of the service.
