The inspection did not involve dismantling any structures or parts of the vehicle. The inspection was carried out using the equipment available at the inspection station. The body structures were inspected without special equipment. The vehicle under inspection was compared with a normal-condition, normally worn vehicle of the same make and age. The inspected item was always rated as being in good condition unless there was abnormal wear or a fault. A fault or wear that would result in a follow-up inspection at the vehicle inspection was rated in the condition inspection as requiring repair. The OBD test device is used only for testing the exhaust gas system. The customer receives an inspection report from the inspection. The inspection report is the property of DEKRA Katsastus, and it may, at its discretion, use the inspection report and the information contained in it in its other business operations without the customer’s separately given consent. DEKRA Katsastus is liable for any error that may occur in the service. However, liability for compensation is limited to a maximum of the price of the service.
