MG4 XPOWER

The Standard, Luxury, Limited Edition, and Trophy Extended Range versions of the original MG4 Electric are rear-wheel drive. Maintenance and running costs
The MG4's scheduled maintenance is simpler than that of a combustion engine vehicle, as there is no engine oil, spark plugs, or timing belt to service. Regular costs still arise from tires, brakes, cabin air filters, fluids, and inspections of the electric vehicle's systems.
Under MG's service program, scheduled maintenance is performed every 12 months or 24,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. A and B services alternate. The service includes checks of the high-voltage system, battery mounting and housing, brakes, suspension, steering, tires, 12-volt battery, and the vehicle's software versions. MG also specifies the following replacement intervals:

MG's service program classifies continuous driving in temperatures below 32°F (0°C) as more demanding use than normal. Frequent hard acceleration, high speeds, wet conditions, and mountain driving also fall under the special service program conditions.
The original MG4 Electric's manufacturer warranty is 7 years or 93,000 miles (150,000 km), and the same 7-year / 93,000-mile warranty applies to the high-voltage battery and electric drivetrain. The warranty transfers to the next owner as long as the time or mileage limit has not been reached.
